Birmingham’s Young Real Estate Professionals will organize various events throughout a calendar year, including but not limited to, two Networking Events per quarter, one Educational/Career Development Program per quarter and at least one Charitable Event/Campaign per year.  Invitations to each event will be sent via email.

• Networking Events

The goal of each event is to provide a networking opportunity for Birmingham’s young real estate leaders in a casual, “out of the office” environment.  This event shall be a time to gather with your peers to socialize and network in a relaxed atmosphere after a long day of work. BYREP will organize Networking Events at least twice per quarter to be held on the first Thursday of the respective month; barring any major scheduling conflicts.  The events will be held at various locations throughout the Birmingham area.

• Educational/Career Development Programs

The purpose of each program is to educate young professionals on the different facets that make up the commercial real estate industry with a focus on the Birmingham area.  The Programs may include informative speakers, panel discussions, property tours, etc.  BYREP will make every attempt to keep these programs interesting and relevant to the whole group.

• Charitable Event/Campaign

At least once a year BYREP will partner with a charitable organization in an effort to give back to the local Birmingham community.  The events may include working with Habitat for Humanity on a site build, sponsoring a family for Christmas, participating in the Angel Tree, and any other opportunity that may present itself in any given year.
